Resurfacing Lasers
At Denver Skin Aesthetics we offer two resurfacing laser procedures:
The Pearl Procedure is a safe, effective treatment for restoring the skin's natural glow. Pigment can be erased with the Peal Procedure when other lasers have failed.
The Pearl treats the top layer of skin with pulses of light. At the same time, the laser sends heat deep into the layers of skin, to provide long-term benefits. Once these superficial tissues have peeled off, fresh, bright, healthy skin will be revealed.
Our physicans recommend skin preparation for 4 - 6 weeks before the Pearl Procedure. This will help you get optimal results. After the procedure you will have "social" downtime of 3-4 days and you will apply an ointment to your skin for 3-4 days. You will need to limit your exposure to the sun: Safe sun is a must! The Pearl procedure is FDA approved for treatment of wrinkles and skin resurfacing. For more information go to www.pearlskin.com.
Renew your skin's surface and discoloration in only one or possibly two treatments. Schedule your consultation now and find out if your are a good condidate for Pearl.
******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Fractional C02 skin resurfacing and retexturizing is a safe and effective prodcedure for almost any skin type. Factional resurfacing targets wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, sun damage, and skin texture irregularities and pigment. Patients who would not have been previously considered good candidates for resurfacing lasers are now able to get treatment with this new technology.
Fractional CO2 technology is designed in a way that the treating aesthetician has precise control over the intensity of the treatment. This high speed laser will direct a grid pattern of tiny pulses of light at the skin. Each pulse delivers energy that can reach the skin's dermal layer. This stimulates the body's own renewal process of collagen. Since the laser is fractionated, small areas of untreated skin are left between the treated areas, which accelerates the healing process.
Down time will vary depending on treatment, but most patients can expect it to take up to seven days. Pre-treatment of the skin is required for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. The physicians at Denver Skin Aesthetics also require a physician consultation before treatment. Our aesthticians would be happy to evaluate your skin, address your concerns, and let you know if this procedure is right for your.
